Gas Fitter 2nd Class B - ALBERTA
In Alberta, Gas Fitters do not require licensing (as in some provinces) therefore there is no interprovincial "Red Seal" for this trade. However all Gas Fitters in Alberta must hold a Certification of Qualification or be a Registered Apprentice with the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training. To work in Alberta, a gasfitter must be ONE of the following:
- A registered apprentice
- A certified journeyperson
- Someone who holds a recognized trade certificate.
